Since Dan and I knew we'd be engaged for 16 months, the one year mark was kind of huge for us! We were told it meant we could truly start our "countdown" and I was happy to not answer the question of "When's the big day?" with "NEXT September" with a swift arm motion signaling the next calendar year. Needless to say, my sister knew the importance as well and sent me this adorable cupcake flower to my work on the "one year 'til our wedding"!
