Molly and Brandon!

Today was a great day!  Our good friends Molly and Brandon got engaged!  So here's the amazing story in a nut shell:  Brandon ran the Stillwater Marathon and proposed to Molly as he crossed the finish line!  Can you imagine running 26.2 miles and knowing at the end of it that you were going to propose to your girlfriend of 3 years with a bunch of family and friends watching?!  It was a big day for Brandon to say the least!  It was so hard for all of us to keep this a secret from Molly and we were all so nervous and excited!  We cheered Brandon on at 3 different spots during the race and then watched him carry a sign on the last stretch that read, "Molly Reese, will you marry me?"  The race announcer read the sign and the crowd went wild!  It was a super cool moment and I'm so happy for them!  

I think this was about the 21 mile marker...I would be dead.

1 Year of Being Engaged

Dan was super sweet on our one year anniversary of the day he proposed!  He came home with flowers and a card!  Definitely a keeper!



Dan's First Grass Cutting!

It was a big day on Temple Lane!  Dan used his brand new lawn mower!  The grass (and dandelions) were fierce but he did not back down.  Through the hills, bumps, sticks and holes that currently make up our lawn, Dan conquered all!  YAY!  (And I bet the neighbors thought I was psycho for taking pictures of this huge event :)

We're Here!

So sorry for the lack in posts!  But we finally got the internet yesterday!  It feels so great to be here!  After closing last Friday, we moved all of my stuff into one room (the office) at the house since it was raining and this carpet is going to be replaced so we could get it dirty.  Since then I've just been trying to unpack as much as I can!  Of course, Dan had to go out of town for work all last week so that left me alone in this house with no TV or internet, it was awful!  Thankfully, my mom came and stayed with me Monday and Tuesday and helped alot!  Here are some pictures to fill you in on our adventure, let's start with Closing Day!

Really.  Do I honestly have this many hangers??  Are you kidding me?  Thank you to my friend Molly for coming over to the apartment during the week to help me pack and for fashioning this Lady Gaga inspired hanger dress! :)
