It seems like Dan & I are really embracing our inner Martha and, subsequently, inviting her into our new home by way of: mixing bowls, bake pans and throw pillows. Almost everything we like has that signature "Martha Stewart Living" tag and we find ourselves subcoming to her infamous ingenuity and style again and again. Now, bedspreads are kind of a huge deal. I feel like they really set the tone of the whole room especially if you choose one with a pattern or a bold color. You can't really veer away from your chosen "feel" or color scheme once this is chosen. For those of you who know me, you can imagine how difficult it was for me to (for the first time in my life) consider a male perspective when it comes to bedspreads. Wait...what? I have to share this with someone else? And a guy at that? And wait. Hold up. We can't have pink? Purple? Teal? Oh man..."this is gonna be tough", I thought. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I want my own room! It's just something that the girl who had no brothers or even boy dogs and lived in a sorority house with 41 other girls needs to adjust to! So, that leads us to another steal alert for ya'll...with Martha's main ingredients and a little sprinkle of "Mature Married Couple" style!
Regularly priced at $229.00 in the store, you can all safely assume I would never pay that. After finding the online sale price of $99.00, we added a Macy's Star Rewards coupon for an extra 15% off. Yay! I dont' think it's too feminine or masculine and I'm pretty excited about the brick red and funky dark orange medallions! Throw in the on sale red ruffly pillow at Home Goods and we're set! Done!
